About this artwork

The majested yet obscure bird known for its vibrant colours and golden crown was sculpted by Betty Ntshingila and has sculpted stunning lily flowers forming the sconce and on the base of the candle holders. The vibrant colours from Mama Ntombela are a celebration of the vibrance and a true depiction of these stunning birds.
