Elephant Rider

This captivating Elephant rider is a striking artwork in the rider series. The elephant showers himself and his masked rider in crystal clear water as the rider hides from the African sun under a parasol decorated with vibrant colours and an elephant head. 

The elephant's ears are painted with Ndebele-inspired patterning and the fine brushstrokes emphasize the texture and detail in the elephant's hide.
