Alex Sibanda has masterfully sculpted this striking elephant sculpture. The Elephant's trunk twirl and his ears flap giving him a happy expression. The inspiration for this sculpture came from observing elephants drinking at the waterhole over trips to Umfolozi and Londolozi game park. This sculpture's ivory colour references the ivory that these animals are so often hunted for.
Jabu Nene has thoughtfully added design inspired by shweshwe print to the elephant's ears, tusks, toes, and spine. This perfectly complements the sculpture.
