    Product description

In a masterful combination of geometric and organic, order and freedom, an ecosystem is brought to life with intricate tortoiseshell patterning and beautifully sculptured fauna and flora. Sculptor Qiniso and painter Tjakata flawlessly render an artistic architectural design that is softened by the more luscious elements of lilies, orchids and aloes. As a trophy-like tribute to the world reopening after lockdown, the symbolic pangolin rests serenely in the open, unfurled and freely moving in its environment. Standing on top of the vessel is a majestic kudu surveying the terrain, which imbues a sense of conquest - a fitting testament to the world recovering from the pandemic with resilience and fortitude so characteristic of the natural world.

Made by Qiniso Mungwe and painted by Relebohile
