Butterflies' colours and patterns protect them from predators by camouflaging them into the foliage. Nonhlanhla Nxumalo Vilakazi masterfully captures this by the intricate brushstrokes and soft greys and yellows used to paint this piece.
All ceramic sculptures have been fitted with a metal rod that is easy to insert and secure into the soil and the heavier sculptures come with a welded tripod stand that secures the sculpture into the ground and is strong enough to withstand the strongest gale force wind .
