About this artwork
Kenneth Nkosinathi Msomi has sculpted playful elephants on a base for each candlestick, and both are accompanied by their young. Palm Trees emerge from the elephants’ backs to form these elaborate candle holders. Nondumiso Mfuphi has added a whimsical palette of salmon-pink over pink the elephant, adding fine detail and leaf-like patterning on the base.
