Hippo and Crocodile Tureen

Pomotso Mafura's tureen takes inspiration from the abundance of animals featured in the Letaba March wallpaper.  The tureen teems with skillfully crafted crocodiles and hippos wallowing in the cool waters of the Letaba river.  

Zinhle Nene mirrors the rhythm of colour and pattern which features in the wallpaper to create a vibrantly decorated piece of work.
