Humming Bird Planter

Inspired by Cole & Sons Protea Garden wallpaper, Octavia Mazibuko's planter, which stands on curved feet, features  flowers sculpted in relief on the inside of the scalloped rim of the piece.  Wiseman Mpofu has decorated the inside and the outside of the piece with humming birds hovering amongst a profusion of protea painted in coral pinks and greens, with a touch of blue, against a dramatic black background.
