Monkey Urn

 Pitso Mohlakoana and Mickey Chonco have created an eye-catching urn which uses elements of the Satara wallpaper design with the distinctive fan of leaves from the Cole & Sons wallpaper design covering the urn. Skillfully sculpted  curving leaves, large flowers and a troop of monkeys and their young circle the urn and a large monkey stands amongst the foliage that decorates the lid of the urn. The aqua background colour enhances the elaborate and detailed patterns that the artist has used to decorate the piece.
