Betty Ntshingila has sculpted this marvellous parrot sculpture as he sits atop his branch with his stolen berries. The parrot radiates positive energy, and it is interesting that in such a dark year, Betty should choose to sculpt an animal that symbolizes positivity, pride and self confidence.
Siyabonga Mabaso has chosen an azure blue and vibrant yellow to contrast each other. He has added pops of red and yellow to the stolen berries and the intricate detail of the black and white on the parrot's face adds expression to this magnificent artwork.
