At Ardmore, there’s a story behind every design, whether it’s one of African folklore or simply the wonder of the flora and fauna that surrounds us, the designs offer a talking point that goes hand in hand with their aesthetic appeal.
In Monkey Bean, princely leopards and mischievous monkeys frolic amongst coral trees, also known as Lucky Bean trees, which are buried on the graves of Zulu chiefs and are associated with magic in Zulu culture. We designed six sumptuous colourways and produced the fabrics in velvet and linen, aiming for a design laden with intrigue and elegance, which makes a bold statement in the homes and rooms it's destined for.
