We are delighted to present the launch of our latest ceramic and wallpaper collection, and are especially excited to unveil a series of new ceramics inspired directly by the Baobab wallpaper designs.

For this exhibition, Ardmore’s artists have translated the intricate botanicals, suspended seed pods, and jewel-toned wildlife of the wallpaper collection onto sculptural ceramic form. These new works create a beautiful dialogue between wall and object, bringing pattern into three-dimensional life and deepening the storytelling of the Baobab world.

This Baobab - Ardmore wallpaper collection pays homage to South Africa’s majestic Baobab tree. Full of mysticism and lore, the Baobab is affectionately known as the ‘Tree of Life’. Said to have healing properties, the tree acts as a symbol for the vibrant flora and fauna of South Africa; a distinctive figure in the landscape to which all creatures are drawn.

In this collaboration collection, the design houses of Cole & Son and Ardmore ceramics have continued to elevate their offering. Wallcoverings are vastly detailed and immersive, akin to the rich nature that surrounds Ardmore’s home within the Kwa-Zulu Natal.
