World AIDS Day resonates particularly strongly with the Ardmore family, as we have lost a number of close friends and inspiring artists over the last few years. After 14 years with Ardmore - during which he created some of our most recognisable pieces - Wonderboy Nxumalo
passed away from an AIDS-related disease in 2008. The fact that his creations remain incredibly sought-after is a testament to the enduring power of art and the human spirit, and gives us the courage to believe that we will overcome the scourge of HIV/AIDS.
Today and every day, we stand in solidarity with everyone living with HIV/AIDS, their families and caregivers.
