Introduced to Ardmore in 2017 by his neighbour Sifiso Buhle Hadebe and friends, Bonginkosi has flourished within the studio environment. Inspired by the work of Sthabiso and Siyabonga Mabaso, he is grateful for the opportunity to paint professionally while discovering a deeper appreciation for the beauty of nature. His vibrant compositions combine playful imagination with meticulous pattern and colour.

Bonginkosi's vibrant use of colour and skilful shading bring his ceramic pieces to life, creating a wonderful sense of warmth and joy. With each piece he paints, he continues to grow in confidence and refine his artistic abilities, developing his own expressive style as an Ardmore painter.
